Holiday!
I have managed to get few moments on the computer whilst my captors are upstairs so I wanted to report back on my first ever visit to the Austrian Alps. Whilst you could not describe this as freedom; my captors were never more than a few steps away, it was the closest I have had to the old times since leaving the UK in 2006.
We stayed in a place called Söll in Austria. I was confined to a Rucksack pocket in the hotel but I heard the Hotel Postwirt was very nice, had a warm outdoor pool and served good food. Not much use to a Gorilla in a Rucksack but I had my apple for nourishment.
We took the Cablecar to the middle-station and walked around Hexenwasser whilst the two young captors played in the water.
At one stage I also managed to dip my toe in the clear mountain stream but having quite a thick luxuriant fur, it was not such a good experience. I use a lot of conditioner whilst bathing to maintain a healthy balance of natural oils and this spring water plays havoc with my follicles.
The youngsters took care of me for part of the time and I had hoped this would offer a chance of escape but they have been trained well and kept close tabs on me.
I met a German frog and tried to tell him that I had been kidnapped but he didn´t speak a word of English.
At the end of the day, whilst I was still held captive, a few days in the beautiful Austrian countryside helped me relax and, as you can see, improve my tan. Not that anyone could notice inside that bloody rucksack pocket.
Bye for now.
